Third time I’ve made this and my family goes wild over them!
– 1 box of brownie mix (plus required oil, eggs, and water as directed on the box)
– 24 maraschino cherries with stems, well drained
– 12 ounces of dark chocolate, chopped
– 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening
– Optional: White chocolate for drizzle and sprinkles for decoration

Instructions:
1. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Bake as directed until fully cooked. Allow the brownies to cool completely after removing them from the oven.
2. Once cool, take small portions of the brownie and flatten them into a thin layer in the palm of your hand.
3. Place a maraschino cherry in the center of each brownie layer and mold the brownie around the cherry creating a ball. Ensure that the cherry is fully enclosed. Repeat with all cherries and set aside.
4. In the meantime, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together. You can use a double boiler or microwave, stirring frequently until smooth and fully melted.
5. Using the stems of the maraschino cherries as a handle, dip each cherry brownie bomb into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s completely covered.
6. Place the chocolate-covered bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow the chocolate to set. If desired, drizzle with melted white chocolate and adorn with sprinkles.
